The target audience for promoting the Super Bowl is anyone from 5 to 100 years old. There isn't any set audience when it comes to promoting the Super Bowl. Fans from all ages, sex and race will be interested in attending if they have the means to do so. We want to reach anyone who will want to be a part of the Super Bowl celebration. If we focus on 25-49 year olds we may miss out on a teenager who has the ability to cox their parents into making the trip to Indianapolis. We could also miss a grandparent who is in their 80's who wants to make the trip to Indianapolis to experience the Super Bowl. That is why it is important to include a broad audience of all ages, sex and race in the attempt to showcase why Indianapolis is the perfect city to visit during the Super Bowl.
The problem advertising must address is the weather. Generally speaking, people spend anywhere from 5 to 10 days in the city the Super Bowl is held. It is important to promote the activities Indianapolis will have to entertain attendants along with how Indianapolis plans to shelter patrons from the elements.
Civic planners, designers and event professionals will develop a Village concept to protect patrons from the elements. There will be stages featuring top-flight musical entertainment and an array of food and beverage options, as well as providing broadcast locations for participating media.
